Annual Auction G'Day mates! Creative Children's Center's annual fundraising auction, Discover "Down Under", is scheduled for Saturday evening, November 22, 2008. The event will be held at the Melody Ballroom, and is sure to be a crowd pleaser with exciting new twists and surprises! Something for all you blokes and sheilas out there! Please save the date on your calendar and invite your friends, coworkers, community members and family to attend. We are excited to be able to get things rolling this year by providing you with a few "tools" for the summer! Think about where you will be this summer…any good hotels? Any good activities? A fun new business or restaurant? Are you going to the beach? Sunriver? Bend? The mountain? Southern Oregon? Take some letters with you... write a few personal letters or make some phone calls and be done early with your donation participation requirements! Here’s how you can help this summer: Copy and distribute the fundraising letter to businesses near and far. The letter is self-explanatory and works! Personal contact is the best, but snail mail and e-mail distribution have proved very effective in the past. Go ahead and "have a go" at it! Get Creative! There are many ways to fulfill your fundraising responsibilities. Here are some procurement strategies to get ideas flowing. So "No worries mate!" The 2008-2009 school year marks the 18th Anniversary of the founding of Creative Children's Center. We have been inspiring and celebrating children for 18 years. With the help of our community partners, we pride ourselves in providing excellence in education at affordable costs.
